

So all drivers are installed correctly, all programs are the most current and were working with 10.13.0, and all programs were functioning prior to the whole High Sierra issue. Not real practical if you are using a laptop to do client work while trying to travel light which is the reason for a laptop in the first place. Kinda like standing on one leg holding a pitcher of beer in your right hand and wearing a stiletto on your left foot while holding an HD antenna in your left hand just so you can watch the football game. The solution they have come up with is to plug a "USB" speaker or headphones into the USB C jack and check audio for the associated device under "Sound" in the System Prefs and then play the video and capture will actually grab the audio. I have found a weird workaround which was provided by a tech at Snagit. I have spoken to the companies tech support and they are aware and have said the issue is with Apple and the update. I have uninstalled and reinstalled all programs several times as well as given permission to third party installers for audio support from Ambrosia and Techsmith. My programs no longer will record system audio when trying to grab screen video.
